Yesterday my dad brought home a cute kitten. At first we only wanted her to stay for dinner, then we found it was pretty hard for us to leave her, and for her to leave us too! All of a sudden my family decided to let this lovely little creature stay, despite all the trouble and chores she would bring. I think this is so amazing, that you decide within one minute that you want to take full responsibility of a life, a someone or something that relies on you. My family kept the poor kitten, who has been kept in a family all her life and then was forsaken. We want to give her a brand-new life, and let her be warmed by our love. We know that this is never easy, for what we decided to keep was not only a cute kitten itself, but also the endless trouble she would bring. This reminds me of the Austrian writer Zweig's theory. He believes that most poeple get a little anxious and sad on hearing someone else's bad experience, but this is only a way to free themselves of the temporary misery aroused in their hearts. Only those who would stay with the miserable to the very end, those who are determined to help even they know it involves great trouble, have true sympathy toward the unfortunate, and are real heros that deserve high praises. I simply agree with Mr. Zweig. I just hope this kitten can grow happily and healthily in my family.  I think we did a right and noble thing.
